Harleysville National Corp. of Pennsylvania has hired Lewis C. Cyr as its executive vice president of commercial banking and its chief lending officer.

Mr. Cyr was a principal and a group manager for the middle-market corporate finance division at Wachovia Corp.

Harleysville National owns the $3.2 billion-asset Harleysville National Bank and Trust Co.

WEST1st National Bank Holding Co. of Scottsdale, Ariz., has hired Roger C. Gustafson as the managing director of a newly formed property and casualty division for its FNB Insurance Services LLC.

The division, 1st National Bank Insurance Services, will provide property/casualty insurance for commercial construction firms, developers, contractors, and those in retail and manufacturing services.

Mr. Gustafson helped 1st National Bank develop the division through his consulting firm, Skye International LLC. Before that he had been a managing director and a regional manager at Marsh Aviation Co., a Mesa unit of Marsh USA Inc.

1st National Bank Holding has $3.4 billion of assets.
