Bank of Georgetown in Washington has hired Nicole Gilbert as vice president and manager of its Friendship Heights branch.
Ms. Gilbert was the assistant branch manager for the NASA Federal Credit Union in Columbia, Md.
Before that she worked for Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, Va.
Bank of Georgetown has $207 million of assets.
First Security Inc. of Owensboro, Ky., has hired Burt King for the position of first vice president.
Mr. King had been a senior vice president in commercial lending at First Federal Bank of Evansville, Ind., since 2004.
Before that he was a senior vice president and regional mortgage manager at Old National Bank in Evansville.
He will lead a commercial banking team in the Evansville branch of the $114 million-asset First Security.
MIDDLE ATLANTICSignature Bank of New York has hired four former employees of North Fork Bank: Alan Roth and Katherine Mulvey as group directors and Blerina Limaj and Celena Mangelli as assistant group directors.
Mr. Roth was named a group director for the $5.8 billion-asset Signature's private client banking business and senior vice president for that business.
Since 2001 Mr. Roth had been a senior vice president and head of a team of private client bankers for North Fork, which was sold to Capital One Financial Corp. last year.
Before that he was a tenant representative broker for Julian J. Studley Inc. (now Studley Inc.).
Ms. Mulvey was a vice president of private banking at North Fork and oversaw commercial business relationships.
Ms. Limaj, who was also named a vice president at Signature, was the assistant treasurer at North Fork and an associate in the private client banking division. She had worked for North Fork since 2002.
Ms. Mangelli was also named a vice president at Signature. She had been an assistant vice president of private banking at North Fork.
