Exeter Financial Hires Freddie Mac Executive as CFO

Exeter Financial has hired Freddie Mac executive Paige H. Wisdom to be its chief financial officer.

Exeter, a subprime auto lender in Irving, Texas, on Friday said Wisdom's appointment will be effective June 8. Exeter did not identify its current CFO and the company could not be reached for comment.

Wisdom has been chief enterprise risk officer at Freddie Mac since 2010. She had previously been CFO for Bank of America's global business and financial services division.

Exeter, one of the largest issuers of subprime auto bonds, is majority-owned by the private equity firm Blackstone Group.
