Export credits ready for goods to Russia.

WASHINGTON -- The Export-Import Bank of the United States is planning to announce today the first U.S. export credits for Russia in nearly 20 years.

At a public ceremony, agency officials are to sign an agreement guaranteeing a loan from the Bank of New York to Vneshekonombank, the Bank of Foreign Economic Affairs of the Russian Federation. The guarantee covers goods being sold by Control Data Systems and four other exporters.
