Fair Isaac Replacing CEO Greene with William Lansing

Fair Isaac Corp. is replacing its chief executive, Mark N. Greene, with a board member, William J. Lansing.

Greene will remain with Fair Isaac in and advisory capacity through February, 2013, and will stay on the Minneapolis company's board until its 2012 annual meeting on Feb. 7.

Lansing was most recently president and CEO of InfoSpace. He has also been president and CEO of ValueVision Media.

"Will's proven leadership as a member of our board for the past six years, and his successful track record of driving new business opportunities, make him the right person to lead [Fair Isaac] through its next phase of growth and development," said A. George 'Skip' Battle, Fair Isaac's chairman, in a press release Thursday.

The change in leadership will take effect Friday.

"It has been both a privilege and a pleasure to serve as [Fair Isaac]'s CEO for the past five years," Greene said in the release. "I look forward to continue serving the company in an advisory capacity."

Fair Isaac's revenue for its first fiscal quarter, which ended Dec. 31, rose 9% to $170.3 million from the same period a year earlier, the company said in a separate announcement Thursday. Its net income rose 88% to $30 million.
