Timothy Burniston, the former senior associate director for the Fed's division of consumer and community affairs, has joined Wolters Kluwer Financial Services.
Burniston was hired as a vice president and senior director of professional services for the risk and compliance business, the company announced Thursday. At the Fed, Burniston was tapped by the Treasury to help develop the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's new bank examination program. His responsibilities at the Fed included monitoring its consumer compliance exam and fair-lending enforcement programs.
