FDIC to Hold Community Banking Meeting

WASHINGTON — The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. on Wednesday will hold a meeting of its advisory committee on community banking, the agency announced.

Subjects of discussion are to include fintech, the ever-elusive banking tastes of millennials, consumer compliance issues, as well as the FDIC's Community Banking Initiative and the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act. The FDIC's senior staff will also discuss "recent supervisory developments," the agency said.

The advisory committee meeting will be open to the public and livestreamed.
