The Pittsburgh investment manager Federated Investors Inc. has completed its acquisition of Rochdale Investment Management LLC's $365.7 million Rochdale Atlas Portfolio, a mutual fund that invests in international stocks.
Federated said Tuesday that it has moved the assets of the portfolio into the new Federated InterContinental Fund. Also, Federated hired two Rochdale investment managers, Audrey H. Kaplan and Geoffrey Pazzanese, to manage the new core international equity fund, which invests in developed and emerging markets.
Ms. Kaplan, who has more than 18 years of industry experience, will be a senior vice president and a senior portfolio manager for the Federated InterContinental Fund. Mr. Pazzanese, who has seven years of industry experience, will be an assistant vice president and a portfolio manager for the fund.
Federated managed $260 billion of assets as of June 30.
