Mr. Burke will lead Federated's team of four retirement consultants as they work with financial intermediaries.
Before becoming national account manager, Mr. Burke was a senior retirement plan consultant. Before joining Federated, which announced the promotion Monday, he was regional vice president for the retirement group at Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.
