Fidelity Investments announced that total record-kept assets, new plans funded, and total plans on its Advisor 401(k) platform increased last year.
Fidelity Advisor 401(k) is a suite of services for employer-sponsored plans offered through third-party financial advisors to small and midsize companies.
Fidelity announced Monday that total record-kept assets in the platform increased 25% last year, to $16.8 billion, as new plans funded increased 44%, to 428.
At the end of last year the platform serviced 2,448 defined-contribution workplace retirement plans.
Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Co., which oversees the platform, had $249 billion of assets under management as of Feb. 28. The Boston parent had $1.4 trillion.
