Fidelity to Offer Yodlee's PayToday

Fidelity National Information Services Inc. announced Wednesday that it plans to offer Yodlee Inc.'s expedited bill-payment service, PayToday.

Fidelity, of Jacksonville, Fla., said it would integrate PayToday into its own online bill-pay product. Yodlee, of Redwood City, Calif., launched PayToday last year to allow same-day bill payment through Western Union Co. for banks that do not use Yodlee's main bill-pay product, which has supported such payments through Western Union since October 2007.

"The capabilities Yodlee and Western Union bring to this same-day payment solution will help us increase our penetration into the online bill-payment market," Anthony Jabbour, Fidelity's executive vice president for core processing and e-banking, said in a press release.
