Firethorn Holdings LLC, an Atlanta unit of Qualcomm Inc., said a version of its mobile banking software is now available for Apple Inc.'s iPhone.
Firethorn and AT&T Inc., the only wireless carrier that supports iPhones, announced the version's availability Monday.
"Our customers are increasingly using their mobile phones as a hub from which they can manage nearly all aspects of their lives, and in addressing that trend, we've made it a priority to give them flexibility and control in managing their finances," David Christopher, the chief marketing officer for AT&T's mobility and consumer markets unit, said in a press release.
