First Farmers in Tenn. Hires Wealth Management Leader

First Farmers and Merchants Bank in Columbia, Tenn., has hired a former Regions Financial banker to run its wealth management operations.

The $1.2 billion-asset bank said in a press release Monday that Chuck McDonald will be its new senior trust executive and lead its trust and financial management department. He succeeded Houston Park, who retired from First Farmers on April 30.

McDonald is a career banker and lawyer who recently left Regions Private Wealth Management. While at Regions, he was a trust officer who oversaw asset management and fiduciary services for high net worth individuals and families.

McDonald will be responsible for expanding the bank's wealth management services into Tennessee's Williamson and Davidson Counties.
