First Southern Bank Rolls Out Remote Deposit Capture

First Southern Bank of Boca Raton, Fla., said Tuesday that it is launching remote deposit capture for its business customers.

The $1 billion asset bank is using Transmodus' check processing platform to enable the technology. First Southern said the new feature will work when a person scans a check and then uploads that image to the bank's website.

"Transmodus provides a check processing platform that will help our clients streamline their operations and focus on their core businesses," said First Southern's chief executive and president Lynne Wines, in a press release.
