Fiserv Inc.'s debit unit has struck a seven-year deal to provide transaction processing and automated teller machine management for Select-A-Branch, a King of Prussia, Pa., independent sales organization.
Select-A-Branch has a patented technology that enables multiple financial companies to put their brand names on ATMs.
When customers of one of its banking clients insert an ATM card into a machine, it recognizes the card and changes its screen to resemble the banking company's ATMs.
"With Select-A-Branch, cardholders and financial institutions both benefit because Select-A-Branch's service delivery model simultaneously satisfies consumer demands for convenience and ATM deployers' needs to extend their services," Kevin Gregoire, an executive vice president with Fiserv EFT, said in a press release last week.
Select-A-Branch has ATMs along the Pennsylvania Turnpike and in Philadelphia.
