F.N.B. of Pennsylvania Joins S&P Index

Standard & Poor's said late Thursday that F.N.B. Corp. in Hermitage, Pa., has joined its S&P SmallCap 600 index.

S&P said that the $9.76 billion-asset company replaced Wilmington Trust Corp., which was expected to be sold to M&T Bank Corp. last Friday.

Last month, F.N.B. reported first-quarter net income of $17.2 million.
