Former Lobbyist Carter Bonar Dies

Casey Carter Bonar, a former industry lobbyist, died Friday in her home.

She most recently was a manager of claims at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. in its Jacksonville, Fla., office. She had previously been a lobbyist for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, LaSalle Bank Corp., ABN Amro, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Fuji Bank Ltd., as well as a government relations staffer for the Securities and Exchange Commission. She also held posts at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Resolution Trust Corp.

She is survived by her husband, Hank, and two sons. A memorial service will be held today in Grace Episcopal Church in Orange Park, Fla.
