The Housing Policy Council of the Financial Services Roundtable announced last week that it was promoting Paul Leonard, now the council’s director of government affairs, to become senior vice president of government affairs.
Leonard joined the HPC in September 2003 as the council’s first head of government affairs.
“Paul has done an outstanding job in leading the Government Affairs department of HPC over the past eight years, spearheading pivotal policy issues such as [government-sponsored enterprise] reform and foreclosure prevention, and this promotion is well deserved,” John H. Dalton, president of the HPC, said in a press release.
