Getronics NV, an Amsterdam information and communication technology vendor, is using software from S1 Corp. of Atlanta to offer outsourced automated teller machine and point of sale transaction processing services in Hungary.
S1 announced the deal Thursday.
Getronics' Hungarian unit is using processing software from S1's Postilion division, which targets mainly small financial companies. Getronics is offering transaction processing, card issuing, authorization, and switching services and has signed one deal so far with a Hungarian banking company.
Andrew Marshman, Postilion's executive vice president for business development in Central and Eastern Europe, said in a press release that with one customer "already on board to prove the business case, Getronics is now able to offer replacement solutions of other in-house systems" to other financial companies and merchants in Hungary.
