Global Payments Inc. of Atlanta has a multiyear card processing deal with the Moscow banking company Starbank.

The processor said Wednesday that its Global Payments Europe would handle all of Starbank's card operations, including authorization, card management services, card personalization, fraud monitoring, and transaction processing.
Starbank, which was known as Noyabrski Gorodskoi Bank NGB until May, plans to begin issuing credit cards to customers this summer and hopes eventually to make them available throughout the country.
Global Payments Europe is based in Prague and has operations in Russia, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovakia.
