Goldleaf Financial Solutions has released a new configuration of its remote deposit capture that will expand the service to retail customer segments for smaller institutions.
Goldleaf’s Sierrra Xpedite Retail Remote Deposit will bring a cost-effective option for the home or-office-based truncation of checks into consumer, micro-business and small-business accounts, using commercially available scanning devices already on the desktop. Goldleaf supports the system with safeguards for multi-factor authentication and duplicate item prevention, allowing banks to determine how they can profitably segment customers for this service (such as minimum usage or account-level requirements).
Goldleaf has 100,000 RDC seat licenses deployed worldwide, and will have the home-based service available for institutions in the first quarter of 2009.
