Hall Capital Names President, 4 to Panel

Hall Capital Partners LLC of San Francisco investment adviser, said it had promoted John W. Buoymaster to president.

The company, which had $18 billion of assets under management at March 31, also announced last week that it had appointed four senior professionals to its executive committee.

Buoymaster, 57, succeeds John F. Boneparth, who left in June to restart a consulting business. Buoymaster retains his duties as director of portfolio management and remains a member of the executive committee and board of directors.

Hall Capital's executive committee was expanded to include Eric E. Alt, a managing director, co-director of research and head of the absolute return group; Sarah E. Stein, a managing director, co-director of research and head of the capital markets group; Richard L. Grand-Jean, a managing director and director of business development, and Helane L. Morrison, a managing director, general counsel and chief compliance officer.
