Harland Investors Approve M&F Deal

Shareholders of John H. Harland Co. voted Wednesday to approve the Atlanta company's deal to sell itself to M&F Worldwide Corp. of New York.

The $1.7 billion deal, announced in December, is expected to close in the second half but still must be approved by regulators.

M&F owns Clarke American Corp., the No. 3 U.S. check printer; Harland is No. 2.
