Harris Unveils Institutional Products

Harris Investment Management Inc. of Chicago has three new investment products for institutional investors: HIM MicroCap, an international equity offering, and HIM 130/30.

The first is a long equity portfolio focusing on U.S. equity microcap companies with market capitalization of $70 million to $650 million. HIM 130/30 combines a traditional long equity portfolio with a long/short portfolio composed of 130% leveraged exposure on the long side and 30% of portfolios' assets on the short side.

Harris Investment Management, which announced the funds Thursday, is a subsidiary of Harris Bankcorp Inc.; Harris Bankcorp is a unit of Bank of Montreal.
