Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. promoted Kim Johnson to senior vice president for investor relations.
Ms. Johnson, 51, had been vice president of investor relations since 2004. Her promotion was announced Tuesday.
Ms. Johnson joined the Simsbury, Conn., company in 1999 as the group benefits division's vice president of marketing and product development. She was put in charge of Group Reinsurance Plus in 2002 and was named vice president of group specialty markets in 2003.
Her latest promotion was announced Tuesday. Before joining Hartford, Ms. Johnson was a vice president and chief actuary for UNUM Corp.
Hartford had revenue of $26.5 billion last year. It provides investment products, life insurance and group benefits, automobile and homeowners products, and business property and casualty insurance.
