Heartland Payment Systems Inc. said Friday that it is again compliant with the Payment Card Industry data security standard.
The Princeton, N.J., processor disclosed a data breach in January. A security audit in April of last year found Heartland met the security standard, but it has since been determined that the company fell out of compliance sometime after that.
Heartland said last week that starting today, its name would be listed again on Visa Inc.'s list of validated service providers.
