Heartland Payment Systems Inc. has added former executives from ING Direct and Hypercom Corp. to its management team.
The Princeton, N.J., credit card processor has named Maria Rueda its chief financial officer. Rueda was previously the CFO at ING Direct, the U.S. online banking unit of ING Group NV. Heidi Goff, previously the president and managing director of the Americas at the payment terminal maker Hypercom, has joined Heartland as chief marketing officer.
Additionally, Robert Baldwin, who was the president and CFO of Heartland, will "take on broader responsibilities" as president and work closely with chairman and chief executive, Robert Carr, the company said.
Parts of Hypercom's business are being bought by VeriFone Systems Inc. and Ingenico SA.
