Henry Gaillard, senior vice president of global operations at Hypercom Corp., has resigned.
The Scottsdale, Ariz., terminal maker would not say why Gaillard, previously chief operating officer of Thales e-Transactions, a French terminal maker that Hypercom bought in 2008, left.
In a Dec. 16 Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Hypercom said Gaillard, who held his senior vice president position since April 2009, tendered his resignation Dec. 13.
Gaillard will receive $480,000 as a lump-sum payment and a monthly outlay of $14,000 during a three-month noncompete period, Hypercom said.
Gaillard began working at Thales in July 2001, having been chief executive of its navigation business unit, Magellan, before moving to the e-Transactions POS terminal unit in February 2007. Hypercom acquired the Thales unit in 2008.
