The core processing software vendor i-flex solutions ltd. has agreed to offer security software from Bharosa Inc. to its banking clients.
The companies announced Thursday that they would incorporate Bharosa's real-time fraud detection and authentication capabilities into i-flex's Flexcube core banking software.
i-flex, which is majority owned by Oracle Corp., will offer the Bharosa technology to customers that run Flexcube in-house and those that use the hosted version aimed at community banks, which is offered through Financial Services Inc.
George Thomas, i-flex's vice president for customer fulfillment and solution architecture, said in a press release that enabling banks to use Bharosa's software would provide "seamless protection against the most sophisticated fraud attacks," including phishing, spyware, and malicious automated viruses.
