MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - An online service says that it can help investment advisers choose 401(k) plans.
Search401k allows investment advisers to compare 401(k) plans from different plan providers. Among other things the free service provides plan expense information and investment returns, answers questions about the plans, and lets advisers request proposals from plan providers online.
Search401k provides information on 50 plan providers and is used by 35 investment firms, including Dain Rauscher Inc., a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada.
