In Brief: Alliance Capital's Assets Up 3.4% in Month

Alliance Capital Management LP of New York said its assets under management increased 3.4% in November, to $568 billion.

It credited the growth to strong investment performance and net inflows into international and global services.

Assets held in equity funds increased 5.0% to $376 billion, but those in fixed-income funds declined 0.1%, to $162 billion, the company reported Friday.

Growth equity funds increased 5.8%, to $145 billion, and value equity funds 4.5%, to $231 billion.

Alliance Capital, whose holding company is Alliance Capital Management Holding LP, provides investment management services for U.S. public and private employee benefit plans, foundations, public-employee retirement funds, pension funds, endowments, banks, insurance companies, and high-net-worth individuals.

Its Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. provides research, portfolio strategy and trade execution to the institutional investment community.
