Allstate Distributors LLC in Northbrook, Ill., said Monday that it had hired George F. Veazey to be a senior vice president and the wire house channel's national sales manager.
Before joining Allstate Distributors, Mr. Veazey shared responsibility for wire house sales at Travelers Life and Annuity and was a national sales manager at AIG Sun America.
In his new role at Allstate Distributors, Mr. Veazey will be responsible to assist broker-dealers with strategic plans and business goals for both variable and fixed annuity sales. Companies within the wire house channel include A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc., Merrill Lynch & Co., Morgan Stanley, the Smith Barney unit of Citigroup Inc., and the UBS Financial unit of UBS AG.
