In Brief: American Century to Add 3 Mutual Funds

Kansas City, MO. -- American Century Investments said it will add three mutual funds to its family on Friday.

The portfolios are to be named the American Century New Opportunities II Fund, the American Century International Opportunities Fund, and the American Century Target 2030 Fund.

The Target 2030 Fund is the sixth in a series of zero-coupon bond funds that emphasize maturities occurring every five years from 2005 to 2030. The New Opportunities II Fund is an aggressive growth portfolio that is to invest in smaller companies whose earnings are growing at an accelerating pace. The International Opportunities Fund is an aggressive growth international fund that is to invest in small international companies.
