American Financial Group has promoted Karl J. Grafe to vice president.
Mr. Grafe joined the Cincinnati parent company of Great American Insurance Group in 1987 as an attorney in the general counsel's office. Over those years he has been involved in acquisitions, divestitures, and capital transactions.
His promotion was announced Wednesday.
American Financial offers property and casualty insurance through Great American.
The proposal is part of what SEC Chairman Paul Atkins calls his "Make IPOs Great Again" agenda.
