MINNEAPOLIS - American Express has formed a strategic alliance with Comerica Securities Inc. to build and distribute annuities through more than 300 Comerica bank branches.
American Enterprise Life, a division of American Express, is providing the Comerica units with annuity products, training for its investment consultants, financial planning software, and marketing support and training. Comerica Securities Inc. of Detroit offers stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and other investment banking services to individual investors.
