In Brief: Axa Unit Shuffles Top Execs

Axa UK, the holding company for Paris-based Axa Group's insurance operations in Great Britain and Ireland, said Friday that Dennis Holt, 57, would retire on June 30 as group chief executive of the U.K. unit.

He is to be succeeded by Nicolas Moreau, the chief executive of Axa Investment Managers, a multiexpert, European asset management company. Mr. Moreau, 40, remains on the Axa Group executive committee and is to become nonexecutive chairman of Axa Investment Managers' board on June 30, succeeding Donald Brydon. Mr. Brydon is to remain a director of Axa Investment Managers.

Dominique Carrel-Billiard, 40, a senior vice president in charge of business support and development for asset management, U.S. insurance and reinsurance of Axa Group is to succeed Mr. Moreau as chief executive of Axa Investment Managers on June 30.
