Bank of New York Co. Inc. announced the appointment Wednesday of Richard F. Brueckner, the chief executive officer of its Pershing LLC unit, to be a senior executive vice president of the parent.
Mr. Brueckner is to remain a member of Bank of New York's executive committee and CEO of Pershing. He joined the company in May 2003 when it bought Pershing from Credit Suisse First Boston.
