South Umpqua Bank in Roseburg, Ore., said it plans to set up 16 automated teller machines inside Kmart Corp. stores throughout Oregon. Terms of the agreement, announced this month, were not disclosed.

Raymond P. Davis, the bank's president and chief executive officer, said the ATMs would be installed this summer.

"The new ATMs will expand our availability in new markets as well as those we already serve," he said.

South Umpqua Bank has $325 million of assets and 12 branches.
