Brinker Capital, an independent provider of managed account and mutual fund services, said it has introduced a unified managed account.
The product would let advisers offer clients asset allocation in a fully diversified portfolio tailored to a client's goals, risk tolerance, and asset level, the company said on Wednesday. Brinker's offering incorporates managed accounts, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and alternative investments on one platform.
The unified managed account is available through the Berwyn, Pa., company's national network of independent registered investment advisers as well as advisers associated with insurance companies. Though such accounts are in use at some of the big wire houses and regional brokerages, their availability in other adviser channels has been limited. The minimum investment in the Brinker product is $250,000.
