In Brief: BT Leading GroupIn $100M Investment

An investment group led by Bankers Trust Corp. said Tuesday it had taken a 17.5% stake, valued at $100 million, in Regus, a private firm that provides fully equipped office and conference space to corporations in Europe.

The consortium includes BT Alex. Brown, BT Capital Partners-both subsidiaries of the $172 billion-asset bank-and Apollo Real Estate Advisors and its London affiliate, Pelham Partners Ltd. Regus chairman Mark Dixon will retain the remaining equity.

Regus said it would use the capital to expand its outsourced office services to the United States and Asia.
