TORONTO - Veev, Canada's first and largest wireless Internet service, is now available in both English and French.
Veev was launched in May 1999 by Bank of Montreal in conjunction with 724 Solutions Inc., a Toronto software company, and Bell Mobility.
"Providing Veev to our French-speaking customers is just the beginning," said Mark Dickelman, vice president of m-commerce and wireless at Bank of Montreal. "We are building a multi-lingual platform capable of bringing the power of wireless Web-based services in virtually every language on the planet."
The 724 Solutions Financial Services platform, the technology on which Veev is based, is compatible with a variety of carriers and Internet-enabled devices.
