In Brief: CIT Group Forges Link to Frenkel Brokerage

CIT Group Inc., a New York consumer and commercial finance company, said it would announce today that its global insurance services business has formed a strategic alliance with Frenkel & Co. Inc., a full-service international insurance brokerage, to provide insurance products and services to its commercial clients.

The products and services are to include property and casualty coverage, employee benefits, life insurance, and personal insurance for high-net-worth people. CIT Global Insurance Services supplies insurance and financial protection products to CIT's consumer and commercial clients.
