Citigroup Private Bank said Tuesday that it had hired a former Morgan Stanley executive to be its chief investment officer and a managing director.
Ernest Boles is to begin the job in June. He will report to Marianne Hay, the chief executive officer of Citigroup Inc.'s global wealth management unit in Europe, and to Paul Guidone, chief investment officer of Citigroup's global wealth management sector in New York.
Mr. Boles was a managing director and chief executive officer of Bank Morgan Stanley AG, Morgan's Swiss arm.
