ST. PAUL - Conseco Inc. announced Tuesday that Phyllis A. Knight had been promoted to president of its mortgage services division.
Ms. Knight joined Conseco Finance in 1994 and has held executive positions in treasury and accounting. Since 1996 she has been a senior vice president and the treasurer of the division. In that job, she was responsible for the division's funding and capital markets activities, financial risk management, and relationships with rating agencies.
Keith Anderson has succeeded Ms. Knight as a senior vice president and the treasurer of the division. Mr. Anderson joined the company in 1995 as its director of merchant and customer risk. In September he was promoted to controller and chief accounting officer.
Over the past two years he has played a vital role in Conseco Finance's successful restructuring, the company said.
