Corus Bankshares Inc. of Chicago has agreed to outsource its core processing to Metavante Corp.
The Milwaukee banking technology and outsourcing provider announced Monday that the bank holding company's Corus Bank subsidiary would use its Integrated Banking Solution.
Corus will also use customer relationship management, data warehousing, electronic funds transfer software, online banking and bill-payment capabilities, and electronic statements.
This is not the first time Corus has worked with Metavante, the technology subsidiary of the Milwaukee banking company Marshall & Ilsley Corp. From 1998 to 2004 it used a variety of Metavante products and services at its 11 branches in Chicago.
Robert Glickman, Corus Bank's president and chief executive, said in a Metavante press release that his company has expanded in recent years and that "the scalability of Metavante's banking solutions also played a role in our decision to return" to the vendor.
