Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. added two directors Tuesday to its Canadian products group.
It said that it had hired James Joyce and Don Scott to be directors in the securitized products group of the global markets division.
Mr. Scott, who oversees the newly formed group, and Mr. Joyce are based in Toronto.
They will be responsible for origination, structuring, and execution of asset-backed transactions in both the capital markets and conduit market, the company said.
Mr. Joyce and Mr. Scott joined Deutsche Bank's securities unit from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, where they were executive directors in the Canadian securitization group. Before joining CIBC in 1998, Mr. Joyce was a structured finance analyst at the former Union Bank of Switzerland.
Mr. Scott joined CIBC from FirstLine Trust in 1993 and before that worked at Toronto-Dominion Bank.
