In Brief: Deutsche Telekom Receives $11B Loan

BONN - Deutsche Telekom AG has received a $10.8 billion loan for acquisitions and third-party mobile phone licenses.

The lenders included Deutsche Bank, ABN Amro Bank NV, Chase Manhattan Corp., Citigroup Inc., Dresdner Bank AG, and HSBC Bank PLC, said Hans Ehnert, a spokesman for Europe's second-biggest phone company. The loan is a first for Deutsche Telekom.
