SALT LAKE CITY - Digital Signature Trust Co. and Arcanvs Inc. announced Monday that they have signed a distribution agreement in which Arcanvs will offer its CryptoNotary Starter Kits to Digital's clients.
The kits let notaries digitally notarize any electronic document provided by their clients on a floppy disk or through e-mail. Arcanvs expects to sell more than 5,000 kits this summer through marketing partners such as Digital to fill what it expects to be a growing demand for electronic mortgages.
"Notaries are a group that can serve a critical role in e-commerce, and we're pleased to provide them with the tools they need to complete electronic notarizations," Trell Rohovit, Digital's senior vice president of strategic initiatives, said in a press release.
