Eaton Vance Corp., a Boston investment management company, said Wednesday that it has hired Lisa Jones to head the institutional business at Eaton Vance Management.
Before joining Eaton Vance, Ms. Jones worked 17 years at MFS Investment Management, where she was president of the institutional division from 2002 to 2004. In that post she was responsible for all aspects of MFS' global institutional business. Also at MFS she was a senior vice president and the director of bank distribution and a regional vice president and bank channel wholesaler.
Eaton Vance and its affiliates managed $98 billion of assets at Jan. 31 for more than 100 investment companies, as well as individual and institutional accounts for corporations, hospitals, retirement plans, universities, and trusts.
