BOSTON Dove Consulting was expected to announce Wednesday that Richard Crone has joined the firm as a vice president in its financial services practice.
Mr. Crone, 44, spent four and a half years as vice president and general manager of the now-bankrupt CyberCash Inc., where he supervised its check service. Before that he worked briefly as senior vice president of Home Savings of America, and still earlier spent eight years at KPMG Peat Marwick as a senior manager in the financial institutions consulting group. He started his career at Unisys.
Mr. Crone said in an interview that at Dove he will focus on helping banks profit from their e-commerce initiatives. He will be based in Silicon Valley, where he now lives.
